At ASPECT Windows and Doors we supply and fit an extensive range of uPVC windows, doors and conservatories. Our manufacturing and quality control services combined with our highly trained and experienced fitters ensure that all our customers are happy and content when the work is complete.
As far as we are concerned, nobody is likely to search the internet for low quality windows and doors, but it's quite shocking how many people end up with just that.
We appreciate that virtually many product manufacturers have a budget brand and a premium one. The car industry has them, the white goods in our homes vary in quality, and even guitar manufacturers charge less for their cheaper products, but why?
The simple fact is that some people are happy to save a few pounds by opting for a cut price version of what they want. In fact, these days you can get pretty reasonable quality on some budget brands, but beware! In order to cut the price on manufactured goods, the manufacturers will often outsource their production to other countries where the quality control is at a lower standard than here. They may even chose to use inferior electronic components or cheaper raw materials to help keep the price down, so you really do get what you pay for.
At Aspect Windows and Doors, we believe that our customers only want high quality windows and doors, so that's all we supply. After all, when it comes to replacement windows and doors, you will not want to sacrifice security for the sake of saving a few extra pounds on the cost of the job.
Security is not the only consideration when it comes to high quality windows and doors. Warmth in winter, robustness and product longevity are a few other considerations when it comes to choosing high quality windows and doors.
Remember that value for money does not equate to cheap, quite the opposite. Many people believe that this term with respect to double glazing will not provide them with high quality windows and doors, but cheap windows and doors that will do the job and save them a bit of money at the same time. Unfortunately, any monetary saving will go out of the window, pun intended, when they warp, discolour or when the mechanisms stick or jam. Worse still, if they fail to deter burglars owing to their cheap and often weak construction.
One does not simply buy high quality windows and doors; one is making an investment in them. Investing in high quality windows and doors you will be adding value to your property in more than just the monetary sense. With the addition of high quality windows and doors, you will be saving money as the property will become more energy efficient. The added security that high quality windows and doors add to a property cannot be underestimated either. The superior locking mechanisms and tough, durable frames, coupled with dual layers of quality glass make your home less of a target for the unwelcome attention of burglars.
So, enjoy a seamless transition between your home and the outside world with our high quality windows and doors. Our expertise, exclusive design and quality craftsmanship creates the very highest quality windows and doors that allow full access with no restriction of movement or loss of function.
Hertford is the county town of Hertfordshire
Possibly the first mention of Hertford was in 673 A.D. The first synod of a number of the bishops in England was held either in Hertford or at Hartford, Cambridgeshire. It was called by Theodore of Tarsus; decisions included the calculation of the date of Easter. In 912 AD, Edward the Elder built two earthwork fortifications close by the ford over the River Lea as a defence against Danish incursions. By the time of the Domesday Book, Hertford had two churches, two markets and three mills. The Normans began work on Hertford Castle, and Hertford Priory was founded by Ralph de Limesy. King Henry II rebuilt the castle in stone, but in 1216, during the First Barons War, it was besieged and captured after 25 days by Prince Louis of France. The castle was regularly visited by English royalty and in 1358, Queen Isabella, wife of Edward II, died there. The priory was dissolved in 1536 and subsequently demolished and in 1563, the Parliament of England met at the castle because of an outbreak of plague in London. Hertford grew and prospered as a market and county town; communication was improved by the construction of the Lea Navigation Canal in 1767 and the arrival of the railway in 1843.
